I can't sign in with my magic link.
Tap the link from the same iPhone where Narrana is installed. The link routes through Safari to the app via iOS Universal Links. If the email is from `hello@narrana.app` but the link doesn't open the app, try installing Narrana first, then re-request the link.
Narrana is asking for location permission. What does it use?
Your GPS location is used only when you place a StoryMark or open the overhead map. Coordinates are never collected in the background, never used for advertising, and never sold. You can also search for places by name without granting location access.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Profile → Account → Delete Account. Your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can recover by emailing the address below. After 30 days, all your data is permanently deleted.
What is Oriel?
Oriel is the AI companion inside Narrana who helps you tie the words you want to the places and moments that matter to you. You consent to her presence at sign-in. You can withdraw that consent at any time from Profile → Account, which deletes your account.
I want to report someone or something.
Long-press any received content (Spark, Mark, or Codex piece) and choose Report. Reports go to the moderation queue. You can also block another Circle member from the member action sheet — they will no longer see your content and you will no longer see theirs.
Privacy requests
Texas residents and others covered by similar privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, and equivalents) can exercise the following rights:
— Right to access the personal data we hold about you
— Right to correct inaccurate data
— Right to delete your account and associated data
— Right to portability (a copy of your data in a usable format)
— Right to opt out of profiling (in our case, this means withdrawing AI consent, which deletes your account)
Pick a request type, confirm your account email, and we'll send a templated confirmation back. We respond within 45 days as required by Texas privacy law (extendable by 45 days with notice, if reasonably necessary).

To appeal a denied request, use the form above (pick "Appeal") or email the same address with subject line "DSAR Appeal" — we will review with a fresh pair of eyes and respond in writing.
